What We Do
Sponsorship, strategy, M&A, AI, executive search and performance. Six disciplines that work as one integrated operating system for the modern sports economy.
Sponsorship only works when it is built on what makes your brand distinct and what genuinely moves a fanbase. We design partnerships around that intersection, activate them with campaigns that travel across borders, and measure them with the discipline of a balance sheet.
The rights market is opaque by design. Valuations are inflated, inventory is oversold, and most partnerships are announced with fanfare and then quietly underdelivered because activation was an afterthought and measurement was never agreed. Brands overpay for visibility they cannot attribute; rights holders leave value on the table because they package what they have instead of what partners need.
Our team has sat on both sides of the table: buying rights for brands and packaging them for properties, from global football to motorsport and the Olympic movement. We combine deal-side negotiation experience with agency-level campaign craft, audience analytics and behavioural insight, so the same people who structure the contract design the activation it has to carry.
We start with valuation, not inspiration: independent benchmarking of what the property is actually worth to you, and what the market will bear. Then partnership architecture, negotiation and creative activation, engineered as one continuous programme with KPIs agreed before signature. Reporting runs on evidence a CFO will accept, and we stay in the room after launch, tuning the programme against the numbers until the results are on the board.
Markets move. Rights cycles turn. New capital and new formats rewrite the economics of entire sports overnight. Our advisory team sits alongside leadership through market entry, repositioning, portfolio redesign and the hard calls that define a decade.
Sport punishes conventional strategy. Emotional stakeholders, political exposure, regulatory shifts and revenue models that can be rewritten by a single media deal make textbook frameworks dangerous. Most advisory work in this industry produces impressive documents and no decisions, because the advisers have never had to live with the consequences of the plays they recommend.
We advise at nation scale and club scale with the same bench: operators who have worked inside ministries and national sports authorities on Vision 2030 era strategy, inside the IOC’s Olympic Channel, and inside blue-chip strategy houses. That mix of government, federation and boardroom experience means we understand how decisions actually get made in sport, and what it takes to hold them together under pressure.
We work embedded, not at arm’s length. Every mandate starts with the decision that has to be made, not the report that has to be written. We pressure-test options against scenarios, quantify the trade-offs, and give leadership a recommendation we are prepared to defend in the room. Then we stay through implementation, because a strategy that dies at the handover was never a strategy.
Club acquisitions. Rights transactions. Strategic mergers and minority investments. We guide owners, investors and rights holders through the full deal lifecycle. Discretion by default, performance by design.
Sports assets are unlike any other asset class. Financials are opaque, multiples drift far from fundamentals, and every transaction carries dimensions a standard deal team never prices: fan sentiment, political exposure, regulatory approval, sporting risk. Buyers overpay in auctions run on emotion; sellers mis-time markets they only enter once.
Our bench combines transaction experience with the capital relationships that make deals real: family offices, institutional investors and private wealth across EMEA, LATAM, APAC and the United States, built through three decades of senior private banking and family office leadership. We know how sporting assets are valued, how they are actually run, and where the bodies are usually buried in the diligence.
We support the full arc: investment thesis, target screening, valuation and modelling, structuring, negotiation and close, then the first hundred days when most deals quietly fail. Every mandate runs under strict confidentiality, with sporting logic and cultural fit weighted alongside the financial case, because a deal that wins the auction and loses the dressing room has not won anything.
Every club, league and federation is sitting on data worth real money, and most of it goes unused. We turn AI from a conference buzzword into a business case: commercial intelligence, fan personalisation, operational automation and the governance to deploy it all responsibly.
Sport is drowning in AI pitches and starving for AI results. Data lives in silos owned by different vendors, commercial teams cannot see what performance teams know, and boards are asked to fund technology they cannot evaluate. The gap between what is promised and what lands in the P&L has made "AI strategy" the most oversold and underdelivered line in the industry.
We approach AI as business operators, not technologists selling software. Our team understands club economics, sponsorship inventory, ticketing yield and fan lifetime value, and we use that lens to judge which AI use cases are worth funding: dynamic pricing, sponsorship valuation and inventory analytics, fan CRM and personalisation, automated multilingual content, commercial forecasting and back-office efficiency. We are vendor-neutral, which means our advice is not a sales funnel.
We begin with a readiness audit: what data you hold, what it could earn, and what stands in the way. From that we build a use-case roadmap ranked by return, not by novelty, and prove it with a focused pilot that shows results inside a quarter. Then we help you select vendors or build partners, put governance and data policy in place, and train your people, so the capability stays in the building when we leave.
Winning organisations are designed around the right people at every level. We place C-suite, commercial and performance leadership across clubs, leagues, federations and rights-holder brands, and we build the development pathways that produce the next generation.
The leadership market in sport is thin, over-networked and full of recycled names. A wrong senior hire costs seasons, not quarters, and the industry’s habit of hiring on reputation rather than evidence keeps repeating the same mistakes. Meanwhile talent development sits fragmented across academies, schools and federations that rarely talk to each other, so promising athletes fall through the gaps between systems.
Our search practice is led by people who have run executive search businesses across EMEA and Asia Pacific, with networks built at board level over two decades. On the development side we partner with governments, institutions and federations from Europe and the Gulf to Australia and New Zealand, combining education, sport science, entrepreneurship and industry exposure into single coherent pathways.
Search mandates start with organisational design, not a longlist: what the role must deliver, what the culture will tolerate, and what the market actually holds. Cultural fit is a filter from the first conversation, references are done properly, and we stay through onboarding. Development mandates are built as ecosystems with governance, curriculum and progression measured end to end, from first boots to boardrooms.
Elite performance does not happen by chance. It is engineered. We build the psychology of winning into teams, athletes and boardrooms: mindset, resilience, leadership and decision-making when it matters most.
Pressure exposes everything. Talented teams underperform because the psychological system around them was never built; executives who carry entire organisations get less performance support than a squad player. And leadership in sport is learned by accident, on the job, in public, where the cost of every unforced error is measured in points and reputations.
This practice is led by a registered organisational psychologist with more than twenty years and over 15,000 coaching hours across five continents, working with champions, national teams and the executives who lead them. The methods are the same ones used at the elite end of sport, translated for boardrooms: evidence-based, measured and built for people who compete under real pressure.
We start with diagnostics, not workshops: where performance actually breaks down, individually and as a system. Then we build the programme around it: one-to-one coaching for athletes and executives, team decision-making systems, resilience under pressure, and structured leadership development for the people who set the temperature of the whole organisation. Progress is measured in behaviours, not attendance.
